Hi there,
Sorry about the late reply. We had a few bumps and there was no one behind the admin panel for quite a while.

When you file your tax return you will have to provide all the information you have - exact periods with each employer, payslips/paystubs, additional expenses and more.

I personally advise you to check if you are eligible for a refund and get extra information from the official page of the Inland Revenue. If you are not able to sort that out, or you have doubts about whether you are eligible for a tax refund, you can visit our partners - taxback.com. Their policy is "No refund - No fee" so there is no harm in finding out whether you can get a good refund.

Cheers

Hello,

I am currently holding a working holiday visa for New Zealand. My visa expires on October 26, 2009. I have used my visa to work for a couple of different companies while out here in New Zealand and I was wondering how I can reclaim some of the tax that I have paid since I have been out here. I hold a US Passport. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Best contact is by email since I live and work in a low cell reception area.

Cheers!
